Microsoft: iPad Pro A definitive guide to Apple 's tradition
Apple's new iPad Pro will appear to be a cause for controversy between Microsoft and Apple, whichever mimics the other and who has new ideas.
In an interview with Business Insider, Ryan Gavin, general manager of Surface products at Microsoft, confirmed that iPad is a clear example of Apple's adoption of Microsoft, not vice versa.
He added that Microsoft would not take the iPad even if Apple began to produce this category of products first, saying: "If we look forward to Apple's tradition, we would not find a device such as Surface Pro or Surface Book, we have been learning and developing our products and drive them to perfection throughout Years".
Gavin continued, pointing out that everyone questioned Surface's products at the beginning of Apple's own business, but soon followed them at iPad Pro.
But the fact is that Microsoft recently launched a Macbook Air-like laptop, so it seems that the cloning of ideas is on both sides, and this has become standard in the technology industry.
